The ASUS M4N82 Deluxe motherboard comes in good packaging. Enough foam to keep it from being damaged during shipment. I definitely liked seeing it packaged well when it arrived.
The ASUS M4N82 Deluxe has support for a wide array of AMD processors.
There is three PCI Express slots. Every card I installed worked just fine. You can check temperatures in the BIOS and also flash the BIOS through USB with a built in utility. Best part is that the audio works without any cracking noises or popping.
I did not really enjoy where ASUS decided to lay out the SATA connectors on the motherboard. They are located at the end of the board so you will want to make sure you have enough cable to connect your hard drives. But this is not such a large problem, it can be worked around and ASUS cannot be expected to know where people have their hard drives located.
Back to the BIOS updating comment, you can supposedly update the BIOS before you begin installing any processor. This is good if you expect inserting a AM3 type of processor. I did not do this, but supposedly the option is there to do that.
What is very cool with this motherboard is that I did not bother formatting my hard drive and went right ahead and booted up Windows once I had the computer rebuilt. It loaded windows fine without a single problem. How cool is that? I would not suggest every person does the same though.
