How to Get More Money for Used iPads

A recent media post shows that the war on sell your ipad has begun. It article describe how the ipad trade in market has been growing since Apple announced the iPad 2 and worse yet, rumor has it that there is an iPad 3 being developed in China and that Samsung will be providing a new screen for it.
When Apple announced that they were going to introduce the iPad 2, sales of the used ones increased to about 4500 in a matter of two days. We are talking about something that happened last year, however if we look at the data which was collected over the years from Apple, it seems that every time they are about to release something new, sites like eBay and Amazon get flooded with people wanting to sell their used and unwanted ipads. Reports from online sources state that the sales of the used ones in the first week, after the announcement of a new iPad, were nearly double in comparison to those wanting to get an iPhone.
When it comes to pricing there is always a win - win situation for both parties. Ipads that are used are going for nearly the same amount as a new one, but with the difference that the buyer does not have to pay for the taxes. Depending on where you may get your second hand ipad, you may even get away with not paying any shipping or handling and better yet, we have seen people offering accessories to go with the ipad; something that Apple or other retailers are not doing. These sellers are simply selling their ipad because they want a newer model. Research done by online shoppers shows that most of the models being offer online are in excellent conditions, with all the accessories and covers, some other have all the paper work and even proof of purchased.
Prices for sell your iPad has been stable over the months and even though they are a bit cheaper than a new one, it does not mean that they are obsolete. Prices at online auctions sales are usually at the same price, maybe a bit cheaper than for what apple is offering them from.
We still do not understand why the prices for such gadget do not drop. A recent study shows that there are two demographics in this subject: Apple's iPad lovers and everyone else.
Even with competitors like the Kindle, Kobo reader and the Android tables closing in to the race, Apple's iPads still dominate the industry. According to a reporter from MSNBC, Apple needs to do something soon about the prices of the iPad. Everyone else is looking into buying amore affordable tablets, as the closes competitors are usually $100 cheaper than an actual iPad. With a new year, a new hope is on the horizon for those wanted a new iPad. Apple may consider dropping the price on the second hand iPads like they did with the iPods and iPhones years back. They may even come out with an 8GB iPad in order to keep bringing more business to them. Whichever way Apple decides to go, they know that as of right now they are still winning the race.
If you want to get and iPad for a much cheaper price, then you will probably have to keep waiting. There are no signs of Apple reducing the price any time soon. Unless you may want to wait for their "Black Friday Sale" which is usually $50 less than original price. The prices of the iPad will not see a decrease any time soon and if Apple decide to roll out a new version of the iPad, then you will see a lot people selling second hand ipad in order to get a new one. If you happened to have one in excellent conditions, then this is the time for you to consider selling your sell your iPad. Soon everyone will be selling theirs and you will have to make yours look pretty good and shinny before you get a good offer. Adding accessories like a cover, or mentioning that you added a plastic shield to the front glass or that you have all the equipment to connect your iPad to the TV or guitar will add value to yours.
