To be able to achieve the goals of these entities Planon HQ supports these as much as possible with standardized processes, systems, services and information. IT solutions play a crucial role in this. To enable further growth it is essential that Planon continuously improves its internal operational excellence.
Position
The Operational Excellence Director is responsible for improving the operational excellence of the organization as a total. This is a crucial function in the heart of our organization. He / she reports directly to the CEO.
This function is positioned in the Shared Services department in one line with the position of the Finance director and the HR director. The HR director is responsible for all processes regarding payrolling, remuneration, staff evaluation and development and recruitment. The Finance director is responsible for all processes regarding control and accounting, budgeting, reporting, debtors and cash management. The Operational Excellence Director works closely together with the Finance director and the HR director to align overall processes. Goal is to improve the ability to execute by simplifying and optimizing processes and systems, aligning tasks and establishing clarity about responsibilities of people and departments.

Key responsibilities
Information Management Planon Group.
- Management of IM & IT department (8 FTE)
- Responsible for all internal IT/IM systems and solutions/applications
- Responsible for IT infrastructure and support
- Responsible for contracting of and communication to external suppliers for cloud/web/hosting applications
Management of operational excellence program
- Driving force behind our ambition to improve our ability to execute and the quality of our organization
- Responsible for analyzing and optimizing our internal operational processes (non accounting).
- Coordination of Project office for all internal projects with clear focus on cross-departmental processes
- Responsible for overall internal KPI’s, non-financial reporting, information providing bottom up and top down, management year plan cycle and quarterly performance analysis.
Support of country entities in their daily operations
- Responsible for global order desk and delivery
Required experiences / Key Competences
- 6 to 10 years work experience as Business Process Manager within a dynamic international organization with demanding country operations
- Successful leader of teams and able to work together with people from different backgrounds and cultures
- Strong background in IT management, IT implementation projects and change management
- Fluent in oral and writing in Dutch and English
- Certified in project management (Prince 2) and lean methodologies like Six Sigma.
